Black Forest Travel Cake

Black Forest Cake, this timeless classic treat, can also be a gift or souvenir! Shaped like a travel cake, this cake that synonymous with red cherries also has a classic taste.

Black Forest Cake Ingredients:

500 g Haan Black Forest Cake Mix

250 g eggs

150 g vegetable oil

 

Method:

1. Preheat a steamer over high heat.

2. Grease three 20x10 cm baking pans and line them with parchment paper.

3. Mix the Haan Black Forest Cake Mix and eggs using a mixer on high speed for 5-7 minutes.

4. Add the vegetable oil and mix slowly on low speed until well combined.

5. Divide the mixture into three baking pans and spread evenly. Steam for 15 minutes until cooked through.

 

Cherry Filling Ingredients:

1 kg dark cherries

30 g Haan Fiesta Icing Sugar

5 g Haan Cornstarch

 

Method:

Bring the dark cherry syrup, Haan Fiesta Icing Sugar, and Haan Cornstarch together until thickened.

 

Cream Filling Ingredients:

100 g Haan Whippet

150 g ice water

50 g cherry juice

 

Method:

 

Beat Haan Whippet and ice water until fluffy and stiff, then add cherry juice.

 

Rhum Syrup Ingredients:

100 g water

5 g rum

 

Assembly:

1. Take one cake layer and spray it with rum syrup.

2. Spread a thin layer of cream filling and cherry filling.

3. Continue with the second and third layers as in the first method.

4. Decorate the topping with dark cherries and chocolate decorations.
