Brownies Kunafa Cube

Combine your favorite brownie recipe with pistachio kunafa! A classic fudgy brownie combined with a Middle Eastern twist.

Brownie Ingredients

330 g Haan Cake Mix Brownies

150 g chicken eggs

35 g water

100 g oil

60 g butter

3 g Bendico Cocoa Powder ND

 

Method:

Mix all ingredients except the oil and melted butter until well combined.

Add the vegetable oil and butter until well combined, then set aside.

 

Kunafa Pistachio Filling Ingredients

95 g kunafa

20 g butter

60 g pistachios

20 g butter

30 g vegetable oil

50g Colatta Compound White

Method:

Heat the butter, then toast the kunafa in a pan until golden brown, then drain.

Blend the pistachios until smooth, then add the oil and stir again until well combined. Add the melted Colatta Compound White and stir again.

Stir until well combined.

Assembly:

Pour some of the brownie batter into a 10x20 cm pan, then place the kunafa pistachio filling on top. Pour another portion of the brownie batter on top, sprinkle with nuts or chocolate, and bake at 190°C for 25-35 minutes.

Cut the cooked and drained brownie batter into small 1.5-2 cm x 2 cm squares, then place them in paper boxes.
