Green Tea Taco Cake

A sponge creation for an on-the-go snack! Inspired by the Mexican taco snack, but with a refreshing fruit dessert twist.

 

Taco Cake Ingredients

Haan Cake Mix Vanilla Sponge 250 g

Egg 5 g

Liquid milk 50 g

Vegetable oil 50 g

Green tea powder 8 g

Colatta Green Tea Glaze 15 g

 

Method:

Preheat oven to 180°C, top-bottom heat, and line a 35x35 cm baking pan with parchment paper.

Add the Haan Cake Mix Vanilla Sponge, egg, and milk and mix until thickened.

Mix the Colatta Glaze, oil, and green tea powder well, then add it to the egg mixture and gently stir with a spatula until evenly combined. Pour the mixture into the pan, bake for 15 minutes/until cooked.

 

Cheese Filling Ingredients:

Cream cheese 100 g

Haan Icing Sugar Fiesta 50 g

Haan Whiptopp 60 g

Cold milk 140 g

Butter 25 g

 

Method:

Mix cream cheese and Haan Icing Sugar Fiesta until smooth, set aside.

Stir Haan Whippet and cold milk until fluffy, then add cream cheese and mix until smooth.

Add soft butter and mix until well combined.

 

Topping Ingredients:

Strawberries or green grapes

Finishing:

Mold a room temperature sponge into a round ring.

Place the bottom of the sponge using a cup case, fold it over, and then spread the cheese filling in the center of the sponge.

Add the fruit topping.
